Bloody Hill Villages Pinot Gris 2020

This is as close to an Alsatian style Gris that I have seen yet from Yarra Valley. Textural light to medium bodied white displaying lychees, nashi pear and Turkish Delight with balancing kick of freshness on the mid palate. I think that this is the pick of the bunch from the new range. Rivar can’t believe that it turned out so well either. May have stumbled onto a great combination of site and style. Why aren’t all pinot gris this good?
