Pip and Ra Fruition Semillon 2019
$22.00 – $60.00
Very flavoursome from the get go. So very unlike semillon really. Nice tropical notes over lemon and lime. There’s a tiny whiff of mandarin citrus as well. Fine delicate wine with acidity firming on the finish. Very versatile food wine, pair with white mold cheese, light spicy dishes or rich charcuterie.
$22 or 3 for $60

The Yarra Valley was Victoria’s first wine growing district with a history stretching back 170 years.
The Yarra Valley is now recognised as one of Australia’s foremost cool climate regions, capable of making classic styles from a wide range of varieties. It is known as the birthplace of Victoria’s wine industry.
The regional emphasis on the quality and flavour of wine has spread to the local produce grown in the same fertile soil and expertly tended. Expect fine contemporary fare and ambient dining in some of the most picturesque settings in Victoria. (Wine Australia)
Sancerre, a small wine district in central France, is famous for its crisp, aromatic white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc.
Adelaide Hills has proven to be the benchmark area for varietal versions. The style tends towards ripe tropical flavours with some hints of gooseberry and herbaceousness. Margaret River does produce single varietal Sauvignon Blanc but the classic style is a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc such as those produced in the Yarra Valley which range from light, crisp and lemony and herbal through to fuller flavoured and more tropical with some barrel fermentation and or ageing.
