Yeringberg Yarra Valley Shiraz 2016

Spicy early picked tones up front with raspberry, mint and white pepper. The palate builds and becomes quite intense with darker fruit being introduced on the back half of the palate. Balanced soft tannins linger and develop further complexity on the finish. Would be nice with Gruyere cheese.

Shiraz 97%, Viognier 3%.

“This year’s Shiraz starts out quietly and really takes its time to offer up its charms. Nothing looks forced or out of proportion — and the flavours persist, fading gently before inviting another look. Drink for 8-10 years, or more”. – Sandra de Pury

A fresher style of Shiraz, showing just-picked elderberries, rosewater and a hint of bramble berries and underbrush. Light to medium body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Drink this young and enjoy! Screw cap. Nick Stock
