Coombe Farm Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2018


An elegant palate with medium intense flavour of strawberries, raspberries, red cherry, redcurrant and sweet spice with an earthy, savouriness and soft round plush tannins that hold flavour at the finish. Overall a complex wine that will suit short to medium term cellaring. It’s a blend of clones MV6 (62%), 115 (21%) and 114 (17%) sourced from our North facing, hillside block. Fruit was hand harvested in five small batches and fermented separately in open top fermenters with approximately 10% whole bunch fermentation. The wine was matured in a combination of new and old French barriques for a period of twelve months.
