RM 2019 Pinot Noir mixed 3 pack
2019 Pinot Noir was an interesting subject. Smaller bunches with up front bolder fruit notes and intense concentrated palates but probably only medium term cellaring. Pretty yummy right now really. We searched far and wide to find wines that were smooth, silky with intensity and concentration and with just enough x-factor in order to keep our favourite customers happy.
2019 Medhurst Yellow Cap
Medium bodied ripe with soft tannins this is an easy drinking fruit forward style. You know the type, put it out and everyone will love it. Designed to be shared not written about. Should be more of it really! Intense 2019 vintage has left behind intense boysenberry, and plum notes alongside an array of other fleshy red fruit. A touch of barky spice kicks in to add complexity.
2019 Dirty 3 All the Dirts
Three different South Gippsland vineyards are blended into this wine- Holgates Rd vineyard, Berrys Creek Vineyard, Silverwaters Vineyard in Leongatha. Exceeds expectations at this price point really. Super smooth long flavoursome palate.
2019 Thick As Thieve Plump Pinot
The very aptly named ‘Plump.” One of the very best 2019 Yarra Valley pinot noirs that we have come across. Ex-Giant Steps winemaker Syd Bradford grows his own pinot as well. Some whole bunch ferment has let some exotic lifted spicy pure fruit notes complimenting the dark cherry and raspberry primary characters of the fruit. Soft tannins and acids throughout and good flavours on the persistent length. Minimum intervention so supa-dupa friendly to the planet. Really tasty and remarkable wine for the price really.
