Steels Gate Dry Grown Pinot Noir 2016

his wine actually took down memory lane to when I was making wine in New Zealand because it reminds me a lot of some of those little lovelies from Martinborough. New and less chunky style for these guys. It has an amazing poise and balance between plummy, cherry and spice. Smooth silky and succulent. Not surprised because I worked with the winemaker at Chandon a few years ago and he is a very meticulous guy, which actually is not a bad personality trait to have in that profession. Well done Aaron.
